Profile

Lori Schnebelie

After attending University of London, Lori headed home to Silicon Valley and finished up her Bachelors in International Business at San Jose State University.  A couple of years as an International Banking specialist led to a move to Belgium where Lori obtained a Masters in International Management and subsequently an MBA from Boston University.  Upon graduation from her MBA, a group of fellow students banded together to start a small business and thus began years of successful entrepreneurship with a string of successful businesses including tech equipment exporting, a dance/recording studio, and talent management.

Always the one tasked with working on the finances and taxes, Lori obtained her IRS Enrolled Agent certification and enjoyed volunteering regularly with the IRS VITA program doing tax returns for the elderly and low income thru community centers and retirement communities.

A move to the Netherlands saw a strong need for US tax preparation and advise in Europe. Lori decided to focus on taxes and worked with diverse European accounting firms preparing US tax returns and advising on US expat tax issues.

Now settled in Southern California, Lori continues to build her US tax business using her creative small business, retirement and international tax expertise.  Her focus on individuals leads to a more hands on tax experience where she hopes that by the time each client signs their return, they understand what they are signing and have a vision of their finances in the year ahead.
